Charlotte FC will be the first MLS team to enter a team in the inaugural TST. The group will consist of players assembled to honor the late Anton Walkes and all of the winnings be donated to the AW5 Family Fund. The club became the 28th franchise in MLS when they joined the Eastern Conference in 2022. Charlotte FC’s arrival in the MLS came with a statement as they broke the record for highest attended game in the league history in just their first game with 74,479 people. With Charlotte’s close proximity to Cary, watch out for the influx of blue from the Queen City this summer!
