Background

The All-Stars had just one mission when they entered the first-ever TBT Jamboree: make it home to Peoria, Illinois, with the opportunity to play in front of friends and family. The team drove 20 hours from Peoria to Philadelphia to play in the Jamboree, and they weren’t planning on returning home without a ticket to TBT 2017.

Guard Quentin Edwards came up with the game-winner in the Elam Ending, repeatedly yelling the name of his hometown during post game the celebration. The All-Stars then dominated Reach 1 Teach 1 in the Midwest Jamboree final behind the steadying play of Brett Bisping, earning them a chance to play for $2 million in their hometown.

Peoria is not only riding the momentum of a successful Jamboree campaign but will also be playing in front of a home crowd. That’s a dangerous combination for their opponent.
