After falling short past two years, Golden Eagles finally win regional crown

The team's #TBT2018 Northeast Regional Championship was a long time coming

After falling in the Midwest Regional Championship the past two summers and losing key guys like Dwight Buycks and Darius Johnson-Odom, many in the TBT world did not give the Golden Eagles a serious shot at contending this year. But, after moving to the Northeast via the Big East Pod and edging out victories over the Talladega Knights and Boeheim's Army in Atlanta, the Golden Eagles proved that anyone can win in TBT. Jerel McNeal, who has played with the team all three years, joined me to discuss the team's TBT journey, why they continue coming back year after year and what TBT means to the Marquette community.
