Devin Oliver slammed home a rebound to reach the target score and send Red Scare past Mid-American Unity, 80-78, in a thrilling affair in front of a raucous crowd of mostly University of Dayton fans. Oliver, whose 27 points paced the alumni squad in an opening-round win, put home a missed layup by Kyle Davis to send the fans into a frenzy. Vee Sanford had 17 points for Red Scare, which emerged victorious in a game that featured seven ties and 13 lead changes. Jesse Hardin, Jr. Paced the offensive attack for Mid-American Unity, which was undone by shooting just 53% from the line.
