Your favorite TBT'ers are putting up huge numbers overseas

Even as COVID cases continue to rise around the world, overseas basketball rolls on. From Latin America, to Europe, to Asia, TBT stars are putting up big numbers all over. Let's check in and see what some of your favorite hoopers are up to.

Darius Adams - Team Hines

Darius Adams has been absolutely balling for Qingdao E in China. In his last two games against league opponents, he’s netted 49 and 39 points respectively. Earlier this month, he had a 31-point outing against the Guangzhou Long-Lions. Adams is currently averaging 28.9 points, 5.9 assists, and 6.4 rebounds per game.

Jimmer Fredette - Team Fredette

TBT’s all-time leader in points per game is still putting up huge numbers in China. Playing for the Shanghai Sharks, Fredette is currently averaging 21.8 points and 4.1 assists per game. In his last four games against league opponents he’s scored at least 20 points each time, including a 28-point, 10-rebound double-double against Zhejiang GB.

Kyle Wiltjer - The Money Team

Kyle Wiltjer has been an offensive juggernaut for Turk Telekom in Turkey’s top league. So far this season, he’s scored at least 10 points in all but one game. Just last month, he put up back-to-back double-doubles against league opponents. In his most recent game, Wiltjer showcased his offensive abilities with 36 points and 7 boards against Bursaspor.

Jack Cooley - Team Fredette

Jack Cooley has been an unstoppable force in the paint for Ryukyu GK in Japan. The 6’10 big has been averaging a double-double of 18.1 points and 13.1 rebounds per game. To start off the month of November, he had four straight 20-point double-doubles. Most recently this week, Cooley bullied his way to a 24-point 17-rebound performance against Shinshu BW.

Eric Thompson - Sideline Cancer

Eric Thompson has not diverted from his glass-cleaning ways that we saw in TBT. Playing for ET Land in South Korea, the muscular big is averaging 10.9 points and 9.6 rebounds per game. Thompson has been grabbing anything and everything off the glass, with 11+ rebounds in four of his last five games. Earlier this month, he showed out in the paint with a 19-point 8-rebound performance against Mobis Phoebus.
