#1 Team Colorado Defeats #16 Kimchi Express, 100-71

Marcus Hall picked up right where he left off from a spectacular TBT 2016 by scoring a team-high 24 points as #1 seed Team Colorado began its quest to return to the $2 million TBT championship with a 100-71 dismantling of #16 Kimchi Express. Kimchi Express completed the entire game without taking the lead once. Team Colorado's largest lead was 33 points late in the second half. Each team made 25% of their 3-point attempts. Team Colorado had an impressive 53 rebounds, while Kimchi Express grabbed 27.  Christopher Copeland (18 points, 10 rebounds) and Dominique Coleman (10 points, 10 rebounds) each registered double-doubles for the reigning West Region champions, who never led and cruised to the Round of 32. Brian Goins led all scorers with 25 points in the losing effort for Kimchi Express, which was making its TBT debut.
